The things I find while tending to nature at home are better than TV!
This little guy showed up in my backyard one day, obviously hungry.
It - I have no idea how to tell the sex of a squirrel without turning it over - literally started eating my sunflower right in front of me. Poor sunflower. Happy squirrel! It was one of the cutest things I'd ever seen. I didn't have the heart to stop it.
The damage was already done and it's all part of the circle of life, after all. I'm pleased to know that something enjoyed that sunflower even more than I did!
